Works well, but slightly mislabeled

I bought this cable to connect an ImageWriter II printer to a vintage Apple II+ computer. It does work, but the cable is actually a null-modem connection. If you use a Super Serial Card, you have to set the jumper to "Modem," instead of how instructions say to set the jumper to "Terminal." The printer will NOT work if the jumper is set to Terminal. Set the jumper to Modem, but set the dip switches as explained in the SSC manual. My printer wasn't working, and it took me a while to trace the problem to the cable not matching the jumper setting.
Reply by Kraydad... this is fascinating! You found a way to connect the cable in reverse and made it work! This cable goes from an Apple or Mac that has an 8 pin printer port to an Image I that has a 25 pin port. I had no idea there was a way to connect the 25 pin port of an Apple II to an 8 pin image II printer with this cable. We do sell the Apple II to Image II printer cable as well.
